18th August: MUSEUM'S 7th ANNIVERSARY EVENT

We'll have been open for 7 years! We're planning another great day for both, new and regular visitors, and those from group visits, for our friends, and for our volunteers (who also enjoy welcoming visitors). With live1940s style music, our amazing team of young 'soldiers' providing historic information and offering tours. The Ration book Cafe will of course be open, and weather permitting, a Flypast of a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight aircraft and also on display, our renovated Hawker Hurricane fighter replica.

Aug 31st & Sept 1st: VINTAGE WORKING WEEKEND EVENT

Join us to take a trip back in time to see things you may only have read about or seen on TV. From vehicles to home-life and all points in between. - including stands and exhibits from private collectors, plus of course our own amazing range of home-front exhibits and wartime artifacts - not to mention our WW2 Hawker Hurricane replica. No need to worry about age - there'll be something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, investigation completed and permitting there'll be a BBMF flypast on both days!
