Militaria Fair Sunday 14th June from 10pm - 2pm
Back in March this year, we hosted a couple of Fairs in our new RAF and Events building, one being Antiques, and the other Militaria. The Militaria Fair was such a huge success that we've been asked to host it again! Don't miss out, visit the museum and then spend some time at our 2nd Militaria Fair. You never know, you might purchase something that inspires you to start a brand new collection of your own!
'Battle of Britain' Afternoon Teas (Booking Essential)
Want to surprise a friend or relative, or just looking for a great afternoon to remember? Come to the museum and get free entry for each persons ticket purchased. We're offering a special way to enable you to 'make somebody's day'. "Battle of Britain Afternoon Teas" are now available, with Sandwiches, Beverages and Cakes, served in our new hangar in a roped-off area alongside our Hawker Hurricane aircraft exhibit. Tables are limited, and must be booked in advance. Tickets are £25 per person for Afternoon Tea and free museum entry. See the page above, near the top of this website for how to book your table.

Armed Forces Day Saturday 27th June
Join us as we show our thanks and support to the Armed Forces Community of the UK, and remember those who, very sadly, are no longer with us. Between 12 noon and 3pm, we have an RAF BBMF flypast booked (weather permitting). 1940s style singer Charlotte Porter will be performing, and all of the Museum will be open for you to visit.
A World First on display at the museum
We're delighted to advise that from April, we will have all 42 different RAF uniforms on display from the WW1 right through to 1945! Darren and Bradley have worked very hard to get this together, and Paul and Linda are delighted. This amazing exhibit can be found in our RAF & Events Building. We don't believe this has ever been available for the public to see in a Wartime History Museum before, or any other museum for that matter. Museum open 10am - 4pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and most bank holidays. Admission Adults £8, Children under 16 £6, Families (2 adults and 2 children) £24, Children aged under 5, free of charge.

'Let's Get Dressed - 1940s & 50s Fashion Show'
On Saturday 14th November we're hosting a fashion show, presented by Jacqui Harris from BBC 1s programme 'The Bidding Room' There will be an opportunity to buy some of the outfits on the day. Admission to the show is by ADVANCED TICKET-ONLY ACCESS (£12) plus the usual entry charge to the museum, on the day. To book your ADVANCED FASHION SHOW TICKET(S), CALL LINDA NOW, on 01205 761082. Museum entry tickets can be purchased on the day. Refreshments available, and there will be entertainment too! The show will be held in our new RAF and Events building.
1940s Weekend. Satruday 18th and Sunday 19th July
Come and see our displays of Vintage Cars and Living History! Plus, on Sunday Natasha Harper will be singing Live and Amanda and Steve - The 1940s Homefront entertainers will be performing too. In addition to the Museum's Homefront and War rooms and the RAF and Events building - there will be numerous side stands and stalls to visit put on by groups and individuals, and on both days BBMF flypasts have been requested, (between 12 noon and 3pm weather permitting)
